Another gorgeous sunny, breezy day! We made our way out of Barth and headed east following the south shore of the Inland Sea. It seemed that we left most of the tourists behind. Along this stretch it was 90% smooth pavement cycle paths with very little traffic. The views were wide and expansive in all directions. The call of the sandhill cranes filled the air for most of the day. We saw a few sailboats taking advantage of the sunny breezy day. The villages we passed through were very small, some had little harbours, and it was rare to see anyone out and about.

Just as we were loading our bikes to leave Barth this went by…yes it’s a guy on a bike leading 2 horses in the middle of the suburbs!
