This year we are planning to cycle from Germany to The Bourgogne in France following our beloved Vennbahn to start our journey. The preparations have begun…we are using a number of resources to plan including PocketEarth, Komoot, for maps and bed and breakfast.eu, booking.com, Airbnb, for accomodation. We fly to Frankfurt September 4 and get ourselves by train to Cologne on the 5th where we will stay for 3 nights to try and get acclimated to our new time zone. Monday Sept 8 we will go to our friends’ Toni and Lisa where we will be reunited with our trusty steeds…Gigi and Copperhead.
