A quiet night in Diekirch at the Hotel du Parc.

Waking up to a grey wettish kind of day, we check out some indoor activity in Diekirch and came across an interesting sounding museum…

a museum of military history of WWII…which was a truly amazing collection of artifacts, and stories and life size dioramas centered around the battles along the German-Luxembourg border including the Battle of the Bulge. A very sobering experience!

And now on the lighter side…The town of Diekirch besides being known for its beer, also has a mascot…the Donkey.

We finally got under way and had a lovely smooth and easy day with no hills!
