We got a late start today as we were waiting for the downpour to subside. Meanwhile we continue to watch the water level of the now muddy Moselle rise by the hour.

We did have to dodge some raindrops, but arrived at our destination considerably drier than I expected. For this trip we finally found some very good rain gear from a supplier in Vancouver (Mustang) where we bought our foul weather gear for sailing. It’s fairly lightweight and packable and it works!
